Going Private

So today I looked on my sister's blog and this is what I read. I have wondered for a long time if I should make my blog private and after reading this I have decided. As of December 1st we will be going private. If you are family or friend and would like to continue to view our blog please leave me your email address so I can send out an invite. Hope you are safe and well.

From my sisters blog:
Creeped Out!

I feel the need to share this with all my blogging pals, especially those of you with public blogs. Yikes!

So today I was on the phone with my sister and she told me something that really creeped me out. She recently posted pictures of my nephew’s baptism on her blog. A couple days later she received a really disturbing comment from a woman who wrote that someone had been pretending to be her and my brother-in-law for several months and to email for more information.

Well, after emailing this woman, my sister found out that some random guy has been accessing dating sites, pretending to be my brother-in-law. He took a lot of pictures of my nephews from my sister’s blog and sent them to these women claiming they were his sons.

It gets worse… my sister hasn’t updated her blog in a while, so recently this guy started saying that my sister was killed and that he was now a poor widower with three boys. So twisted, just thinking about it makes me sick.

The whole thing was revealed when my sister posted about my nephew’s baptism and the women realized she was still alive.

Anyways, I’ve heard several creepy blog-stalking stories, but none have hit this close to home. It makes me worried about my nephews and that much more protective of my girls. Before this I was on the fence when it came to private blogs, now I’m all about 'em.

Bath Time

Tonight I decided to give the girls a bath together.

Sienna was a big help. She made sure Juliette's toes were clean and all "fuzzies" were removed

Sienna loved showing her sissy how to pour water on her head.

Juliette loved watching her big sister.

Mommy loved seeing her girls so happy. I may have to do this again.

Lake Arrowhead

Last weekend we went to Lake Arrowhead for a little get away.

We stayed in a cute cabin that had a great view and an apple tree.

I haven't had apples this delicious since I lived in Harvard.

We spent one afternoon picking apples off the tree, and then the rest of the time enjoying them.

Grandma Judy and Grandpa Donny enjoying the newest grand babies.

Steve and Sienna exploring the cabin.

Ready for bed.

Hanging out with Aunt Tami.

One day we went down to the little town. We looked in some of the stores and the children enjoyed some of the rides.

I just couldn't resist the little crack.

Ready to go home.

Pumpkin Carving

Last week we went to the pumpkin patch. I wanted to take pictures, Steve wanted to find a large pumpkin to carve with Sienna. So for their daddy daughter date they decided to carve a Mickey into the pumpkin. As you can see Sienna was so excited to get started.

Then she looked inside and changed her mind. We could not get her to touch the "pumpkin guts".

She didn't mind stirring them though.

And she loved the finished Mickey.
