Happy 3 Months......

Hi Everybody,

I just had my 3 month old birthday, so my mom decided I had to take a bunch of pictures again. She is wierd, she says it is genetic. Whatever that is... : )I got a new elephant to play with. It is so soft and tastes really good.

Then we went outside for more pictures. She would not stop until I gave her smiles, so I humored her. It seemed to make her happy. Silly Mom.

I hope that my four month birthday is this much fun. I can't wait to see all of your pictures too.

Baby Goody Good : )

Mommy What are you Doing?

The other day Steve held Sienna lying down on his lap. She looked at me upside down and started laughing. I had a flashback to my childhood when my Uncle Darrell would come to visit. First he would draw eyes on his chin and cover up the rest of his face. Then he would lay on the bed and hang his head off the side. Last, he would become Mr. Goody Good. My uncle could keep us entertained for a long time. I noticed Sienna had the perfect chin for Baby Goody Good.

No more Baby Goody Good.......Please!

Dirt Bike Racing

This weekend we went to watch our nephew Scotty race his dirt bike. We were hoping that Sienna would not be to scared with all the noise and luckily she did great. She loves being outside so that helped. Her aunt Tami and Grandma and Grandpa Blackburn were there to hold and help spoil her so I think that helped too. Aunt Tami seems to think dirt bike racing is in her future, but I am not so sure. I think my little girl likes to stay clean just like her mommy.

Our nephew Scotty on his bike. Doesn't he look like a pro.

Camping at Carpenteria

This weekend was the annual Blackburn family camping trip up at Carpenteria beach. We thought we would attend the festivities for the weekend with our two month old little girl. We have taken her to the beach before and she has swam in pools so we thought, why not, she is a real trooper. What we were not sure about were the trains that pass by the campsite every couple of hours. That was the unknown. That is what we were not prepared for. Some trains pass by the campsite in the evening and night and all you hear is the clickity clack of the train on the tracks. Unfortunately some trains think it real "funny" to blear their horns and make some real noise. Unfortunately we got one of those trains at 12:30 at night and again at 2:00 and Sienna was not happy! She screamed and wailed and let us (and the whole campsite) know that she was not a happy camper. We were going to stay a couple of nights but this pretty much summed up how our night was and we decided to stay only that one night. Even with the crazy night we had the next day was a lot of fun. Sienna loved the beach and took one of her longest naps yet.

Sienna enjoyed the sun

Took a nap and played with her cousin Carly.

In the evening we had to wrap Sienna up real tight in her blanket so she would stay warm. She loved sitting by the camp fire. Sadly it wasn't until we returned home that we realized we did not have any campsite photos. We only took beach pictures because we thought there would be another night to take campsite photos. Oh well there is always next year.
