Lake Arrowhead

Last weekend we went to Lake Arrowhead for a little get away.


We stayed in a cute cabin that had a great view and an apple tree.


I haven't had apples this delicious since I lived in Harvard.


We spent one afternoon picking apples off the tree, and then the rest of the time enjoying them.

One day we went down to the little town. We looked in some of the stores and the children enjoyed some of the rides.





I just couldn't resist the little crack.

Pumpkin Carving

Last week we went to the pumpkin patch. I wanted to take pictures, Steve wanted to find a large pumpkin to carve with Sienna. So for their daddy daughter date they decided to carve a Mickey into the pumpkin. As you can see Sienna was so excited to get started.


Then she looked inside and changed her mind. We could not get her to touch the "pumpkin guts".


She didn't mind stirring them though.


And she loved the finished Mickey.

Cousins

Last week Sienna had lots of fun with her cousins.














We sure do wish cousins lived closer!

Pumpkin Patch

We went up to visit Grandma Judy and Grandpa Donny. while we were there Aunt Tami suggested we go to the pumpkin patch.


Sienna looked all around for the perfect and CLEANEST pumpkin.


She found it.


Sienna then took a hay ride with Grandma Judy,




A pony ride,


And a train ride with Aunt Tami.


They had fun being silly on the train.


Great idea Aunt Tami! We had fun!

Look who is a month old

Actually, Juliette is five weeks old. She is happy baby who likes to stay up late - I think she takes after the Swenson women in that way. She is a night owl and likes to keep her mom up all hours of the night.
