Tubing in Brian Head

One of the days we were up in Brian Head we went tubing.


Sienna was excited and ready to go.


She went up the hill with daddy.


Her friends Brody and Araia loved it, but. . .


Sienna did not.


We spent the rest of the time hanging out with Juliette and watching everyone else go sledding.

Someone is not feeling so well.

So after a week of Juliette taking antibiotics, I woke up to find this on her body. This rash has completely covered her body and looks worse than it show in the picture. My little sweetheart has been fussy and sad all morning. Apparently she is allergic to penicillin.

Juliette is five months

I'm so glad when daddy comes home. . .

The mornings that Steve is coming home are so exciting in our house. Sienna Can't wait.

She demands every bit of his attention, and gives him lots of loves and big smiles.

Recently I noticed that someone else was super excited when daddy came home.

He is one lucky daddy to be so loved.

Pixie Dust

This morning Sienna wiped her fingers on a table and showed me dust.

Sienna: "Mama what's this?"
Me: "Oh, it's just dust."
Sienna: (With a big smile on her face) "Like Peter Pan and Pixie Dust!"
Me: "Um . . . not the same thing honey."

I then tried to explain to her how they were not the same thing.
She has been asking me to show her Pixie dust all morning, and I am realizing I need to give my house a good dusting.
I love my little Tinker Bell.

Happy New Year

I hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas. Here are some of my favorite pictures from this last week.
After a little convincing, begging and bribing, Sienna agreed to sit next to Santa in order to
help Juliette not be afraid.

Alone Play Time

This last couple of months I have been trying to have Sienna learn to play on her own. She spends a little time in her bed room with some of her toys and it gives me a chance to clean and get things done around the house. Up until this week it has not always gone so smoothly. Some days she is Ok with it, but other days she doesn't want to play alone.

The good news, this last week she has started really enjoying alone play time.
The bad news, she has started creating a huge mess in her room.

I came into her room earlier this week and found her drawers and closet completely emptied of clothes and shoes and everything else. I was mad to have another mess to clean up. Lately I feel like messes are made faster than I can clean up. Sienna, however was happy and had been completely content to spend time in her room alone. When I told her she shouldn't be pulling everything out of her closet and dresser she responded with "But Mom". I thought that was a phrase I wouldn't hear for a couple more years. She gave me a huge smile. How can you be mad at that face? Oh well, she is learning to clean up her messes.

Baby Jesus

Every year our stake gather together nativity scenes to display for the community to enjoy. They also have a live nativity. This year we were asked to participate in the live nativity. Juliette did great. She slept the whole time.





We were grateful for our friend Shannon who brought her camera and was able to capture our experience.
