Wild Flowers

One of the things I love about were I live are the wild flowers. This time every year the ground is covered with wild flowers of every color. This year I got it in my head that I would take my girls to a field of wild flowers for a photo shoot. I loved these orange and yellow flowers, and so did Juliette. Unfortunately all the fields of purple wild flowers I had in mind for Sienna are located near the highways. I have looked and looked. If you know where I can find purple wild flowers not next to the highway let me know.

This is what happens when mommy is more focused on the camera than her baby.

My sister Joyce was in town and we were discussing whether we liked photos saturated with color, or more on the black and white side with a splash of color.

What do you think?

Not a happy Mama!

So I put Sienna in her room to play while I laid Juliette down for a nap. When I was done this is what I found. The white stuff is baby powder. It was all over. She shook the whole container of powder all over the room.

It was in her closet, drawers, on her dresser and bed. Sometimes I wonder why I ever bother cleaning.

"I needed some powder for my bum bum mom."
I think she got it everywhere but her bum!

DeJong's Dairy

Last week we went to DeJong's Dairy. We missed the tour, but we got to feed the goats and sheep.

Ryder fed the sheep while I fed the goat.

Brody had a staring contest and Araia posed for the camera
.

Some of our favorite animals.

After feeding the animals we washed our hands and drank the best chocolate milk.

Disneyland with Araia

Araia and I went to Disneyland, the happiest place on earth.
We had fun. Here I am driving the Toon Town Firetruck
like my daddy.

I really like the movie Peter Pan so I was so excited to see him at Disneyland. Look how cute he is with my friend Araia. I didn't want to be in the picture this time. He was going home to go sleepy time. I hope I see him again soon.

Brian Head

This last weekend we went with some friends to their cabin in Brian Head Utah. It was a blast! During the four days we were there it snowed all the time. It snowed two feet in less than two days. We sled, snowboarded, played games and had hot coco.

Both girls had fun and we stayed warm in our snow suits and also by sitting by the fire.

Sledding

Sienna and Dad had a great time sledding.

Daddy decided to give Sienna a push to go Super Fast !!!!!

Oops, maybe a little too fast Daddy.... : )

I want to go inside and get warm Daddy.

Snowboarding and playing in the snow

I had the chance to go snowboarding for the first time. My friend Leilani taught me how to snowboard during a blizzard (at least that is how it felt). Then, the next day I got to go snowboarding with Steve.

I love this man, and we had fun on the mountain.

Sienna tried snowboarding in the driveway and loved it.

Juliette tried riding in the sled and loved it.

Snow angels were made too.

Tubing in Brian Head

One of the days we were up in Brian Head we went tubing.

Sienna was excited and ready to go.

She went up the hill with daddy.

Her friends Brody and Araia loved it, but. . .

Sienna did not.

We spent the rest of the time hanging out with Juliette and watching everyone else go sledding.

Someone is not feeling so well.

So after a week of Juliette taking antibiotics, I woke up to find this on her body. This rash has completely covered her body and looks worse than it show in the picture. My little sweetheart has been fussy and sad all morning. Apparently she is allergic to penicillin.

Juliette is five months
