Happy Birthday J

It has been over a week, but I needed to post that my baby turned 3 this month! I can't believe how fast time is flying. Be prepared Nicole and David, one minute you are holding this tiny baby, and the next they are 3. J has been asking since S's party when we were having her Diego party. She loves the show Go Diego Go. She asks to watch Diego everyday. Unfortunately, Diego is not as popular as Dora the Explorer and finding Diego things was a little difficult. Lucky for us my friend Leilani made the perfect cake.

We played pin the badge on Diego,
and had a relay to pop the water balloons. They had to run to the chair, grab a balloon and sit on it. (Do you remember playing that game at our birthday party Joyce?) The kids didn't get the relay part, but they loved popping the water balloons.

Later, after a swim we sang happy birthday and had some cake.

I love this face. She is such a little joker. She made this face right before she fell in the pool. I am so happy to be her mommy!

Kindergarten

This week S started Kindergarten.
She was very brave, but a little shy.

She was excited to find her room, and wanted a picture with her making a funny face. (Her favorite way to take pictures lately.)

S played on the Kindergarten playground until the bell rang.
She lined up and in she went.

We can't believe she is already starting Kindergarten. She told us that her favorite thing about Kindergarten was doing the Hokey Pokey.  We are so proud of her and hope she always loves school.

Carpinteria 2012

Carpinteria 2012

We had fun again in Carpinteria. S loved splashing in the waves and playing with her cousins, J loved watching the train pass by and Steve and I loved relaxing at the beach with family.

I loved watching the waves surprise the fort builders. They did not expect the waves would reach them so quickly.

S and J loved the little park almost as much as the beach.

We enjoyed our annual Softball game. I am pretty sure my team won. S participated this year and she got a couple of hits.

Safe at first base with Aunt Kim.

We can't wait until next year. See you then Carpenteria!
