Primary Program

Today was S's first primary program. My little S is a shy little girl, so I really wondered if she would actually go up on stage and say her line. She has been singing "I Love to See the Temple" for the last month, and we have been practicing her line, but she was adamant that she would not go up to the stage. Well she did make it up to the stage and she did great at the microphone. Steve and I were anxious for our little girl.


Before it was S's turn to speak, J asked in a really loud voice, "Where's S?" I don't know if S heard her or not, but at that moment S stood up and gave us the I love you sign and then sat down just as fast. J was happy and so were Steve and I. She just melted our hearts. What a sweet little girl I have. We are proud of our little Sunbeam.

Old time Photos

Ever since I can remember I have loved the old fashioned photos. Every time I pass them in the mall I tell Steve how much I want to do them some day. Well for my birthday, I got a certificate to have the girls take pictures. Thank you Judy! I love them. The girls were in such a good mood and smiled so well it was hard to narrow it down. Here are my top four favorites.

Soccer

Sienna started soccer this fall. We are still not sure if she likes it or not. It is a struggle to get her to the games and practices, but once there she has fun. Here are some pictures from her first game. It was 8:30 in the morning and already 95 degrees. It was a hot day.


She had some good assists and loved throwing in the ball (because she could use her hands).


She is also on the team with her good friend Araia, and they have fun together.

Cute Baby

Anyone that knows Juliette, knows that she loves babies. The other day I watched my friend's little three month old baby Noa. Juliette loves him and frequently asked to hold him.
I laughed watching Juliette hold this little baby who is almost as big as her.

Carpinteria 2011

We spent another couple days at Carpinteria with family and friends and we had such a good time. We can't wait to go back next year. Notice the tent in the background, Steve was very proud of our new tent that we can stand up inside.


Juliette turned two this year and we were able to celebrate it in Carpinteria. She did great blowing out the candle.


One early morning we went for a walk on the beach looking for tide pools and other treasures. Aunt Tami found some shells with holes in them. She added some seaweed and we had necklaces. They were a hit. I even got to wear one that Juliette gave me.





On another day we went up to Santa Barbara for lunch and a bike ride. The kids had so much fun racing each other, but we were exhausted after biking all over the boardwalk. We ended our outing with ice cream on the Santa Barbara pier.


After a delicious breakfast made by Jerry we were off to play in the annual Softball game.



It was a fun game where even the little ones got a hit.

It was fun roasting marsh mellows by the fire, but unfortunately we dropped our little camera and that was the end of our picture taking. We did get to spend several days enjoying the beach. Sienna and Juliette were very happy to play in the sand, and after some convincing we got them to play in the tide too.

Swimming at Dave and Nicole's House

We love swimming! So it was so much fun for us to swim in Dave and Nicole's pool.

Even Landon loved the water.


Sienna and Hayden were little fish.


Kapri could always be found wrapped in a towel, usually it was my towel.


These boys (and their moma) loved the water too.

Family Reunion at the Mansion

The first day of the family reunion we arrived at our "Mansion in the woods." We enjoyed exploring the house and the beach by the lake. My mom brought with her two canoes and several other toys for us to play with. The beach area was clean and the water was cool and refreshing. We were excited to spend the week here.
