Hula Performance

Sienna's Hula class had a performance this last Saturday. It was part of Dance Company and it was on a real stage.

We were waiting for the performance to start and Juliette saw some people selling flowers. She wanted one so bad so we got her a rose.

She did a great job dancing with her Ipu!

Afterwards we met her back stage and gave her some roses too.

Six Years Old

Last month she turned six. Today after church she wanted me to take her picture on her favorite rock. I love this girl so much.

Kindergarten Graduation

We can't believe how fast this year has gone. S graduated last week from Kindergarten (promoted to first grade).  Her class sang some songs and then she got her certificate. We were so proud of her. She has grown so much this year. She is reading a ton of books and writing 5+ sentences. Her report card was very positive, which didn't surprise us. Way to go!

Our new pets

Our girls have been asking for a pet for a while, so recently we went to the store and they both got to pick out their own fish.

School Play

S was in a class play this evening. She was one of the narrators talking about the different types of bugs.

They sang several different songs about bugs and ended the night with a tribute to the service men and women at our school by singing Proud to be an
American.

Field Trip

J's class had a field trip to the local fire station. She was so excited to tell me all about it. She even got to spray the fire hose.

Look at my cute little monkey. She is the only one that is striking a pose. I love my little monkey.

A visit from Mimi

We had a quick visit from Mimi this last month. She had a friend get married, and lucky for us it was in our area. She and I enjoyed taking photos at the wedding, and then we met up with my family at the hotel.
My girls love when Mimi comes to town.

Brianhead

There are a lot of pictures, but this was a fun trip and I wanted to make sure and remember everything that we did. Brianhead is becoming one of our favorite places to visit. This is a view from the porch of the cabin where we stay. There is always so much snow.

S was so excited that her friend decided to bring her dog Max. S reminds us all the time how much she loves dogs.

Every chance she got she asked me to take a picture with her and Max.

The first day that we were there was beautiful. We enrolled S in ski school and then went to hit the slopes.
J went down the slops twice, and although she said she loved it that was all she wanted to do this year. We were just happy she tried it.

When we picked up S from ski school she was skiing down the mountain. She said she had so much fun and wanted to go again. We were so proud of her.

The second day we were there it snowed all day. We didn't make it to the slopes, but we had fun playing outside the cabin.

Keeping warm in the cabin, playing games and watching movies is a great way to end the day.

We had another fun day on the slopes, S went down the bigger mountain four times (with a little help). She did not want to stop. The last day we went tubing. It was great fun. Our girls were the last ones on the hill. Everyone else got cold and disappeared in the lodge for hot chocolate, but S and J went until our time was up and we weren't allowed to go anymore. They really surprised me this year with how much they loved the snow.
