Busy Fall

Things have started to slow down a little as it is getting closer to Christmas. S finished her soccer season and was excited to get another trophy. She also had a Thanksgiving performance at her school. She sang several songs and then had a feast with her class. Then this last weekend S had her Hula performance. Grandma Judy, Grandpa Donnie, Aunt Tami, Sallianne and her family were all able to join us. I was very proud of her as I watched her dance. She really has a talent for dancing.

I thought it was funny watching the girls peek out around the curtain to see the older girls dance.

J and I have also been busy after we drop S off at Kindergarten. She and I get most of our shopping done in the mornings and we like to play at the park and have dance parties at home. She is my little buddy in the morning and I am enjoying having her all to myself.

Things that make me smile

Whenever I walk outside and see a rainbow or a hot air balloon I can't help but smile.  This week I saw both.

Sunday we walked out our front door and heard a noise above us. We looked up and were greeted by some people in a hot air balloon. We were seriously that close. I thought they might land on our house.

Happy Halloween

Last year S decided that we were going to be a pirate family, but three weeks ago J decided that she wanted to be a butterfly instead.

Sienna's photo shoot

The other day S begged me to take her picture. She was ready to model for me, and this doesn't happen often so I jumped at the chance. She cracked me up with her different poses. Toward the end of our photo shoot she gave me her favorite faces, the distant thinker, the surprised look, and cross eyed girl look.

Photo Time

Sometimes I just want to take a photo of my girls. I love seeing their smiles and catching the perfect shot. It is frustrating when they don't always cooperate or in J's case stay still. I get a lot of blurry shots of her, but a lot of cute ones too. I guess I will just keep taking pictures.

More swimming

One of the best things about our timeshare was the pool. We spent most of our time there.

S tried to do a cannon ball like her daddy. She was able to grab one leg, now we have to work on the other leg.

J's favorite thing about the timeshare was the bridge. She wanted to cross it every time we went to our place, even though we were on the bottom floor.

We had a great weekend and wished it could be longer. The only problem we had was J launched herself off the couch and ended up with three stitches. Her first time to the ER.

The beach

We went to the beach while we were in Carlsbad. We had fun watching our girls play in the sand and run from the waves. We walked out on the jetty, where we saw lots of crabs and were splashed by the crashing waves.

We had such a fun day at the beach. I love my girls.
