A Day at the Beach

We love the beach! We wish we still lived a couple of miles from it. The other day we woke up and decided it was a perfect beach day. Sienna enjoyed building a sand castle and chasing the birds. Juliette enjoyed staying warm and sleeping. Steve and I enjoyed being with our girls. It was a perfect day!

Making cookies

The other night Sienna and I decided to make peanut butter cookies. Sienna and I put on our matching aprons and mixed up the cookies dough.


Grandma Judy helped Sienna count the chocolate kisses.


Sienna snuck a taste of the cookie dough.


Mmmm so good.

Luau with Dad

Last Night our ward had a great Luau with authentic food and fun. Sienna and Dad got dressed up and partied with our ward friends.





We enjoyed watching all the great dances from each of the Polynesian Islands.




Sienna and her friends enjoyed putting on their own versions of the dances also.



They were having so much fun the other kids decided to join in too.

First Week home

After a couple of days in the hospital, Juliette and I were ready to go home!


We came home Tuesday evening and were given a warm welcome from big sister. This was the first time I was away from Sienna ever and it was so good to see her. I missed her so much.


I think the sisters are going to be best of friends.


Sienna was excited to get Nemo from her little sister.


Steve's mom and dad, sister Kim and brother Jerry were waiting for us also.

It was great to be home.

The rest of the week Sienna and Mimi enjoyed the sun and the pool.




Juliette and I spent time sleeping and eating and relaxing.




Thanks Mimi for being Sienna's playmate and my personal nurse.

The Big Day is Here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saturday at midnight Mom and Dad reported for our induction.

Kim was ready. She figured after 9 months of Nausea, Sleep Deprivation and a strict diet she could handle anything.
18.5 Hrs later she was grateful for the doctor and the epidural. 6:23 pm Sunday Aug 23rd.
7 lbs 13oz and 18 inches. Juliette Leah Blackburn

Proud Grandma, Mom and Juliette.
Aunt Tami, Grandma and Grandpa made it also.


Mom and Dad were grateful for the first night of sleep we got. She only woke up twice.

Wow, They sure look a lot alike right now. It will be interesting to see what happens in the future.

37 weeks

My friend Crystal offered to take pregnant pictures of me, and I am so glad I took her up on her offer. Thank you Crystal!

Oh, and in case you can't tell, I am swinging on a tire swing. It was fun!

Princess Dress Like Ali's

This morning when I went to dress Sienna I picked out an outfit, but she had another idea of what she wanted to wear. She wanted the "Princess dress like Ali." So after dressing her in her princess dress I decided to take a couple quick pictures of her so I could show her cousin Ali. Here is what I got.
