Pumpkin Patch

This week we took Sienna to the pumpkin patch. I have been looking forward to this for several months. I love to take pictures and now that I have a little girl, I have a constant model. Unfortunately Sienna does not always like to pose for her mama. This time, however she was fun to photograph. My friend Crystal showed me how to do this black and white picture. Doesn't it look Greeeaaat!

My sweet little Tigger.

"I found the one I want mama! Can we take it home!?!"

"It won't move!"

Sienna decided to settle for a smaller pumpkin. Our trip to the pumpkin patch was a success! We can't wait to go back next year.

Sienna's first Disneyland visit

On Wednesday we took Sienna to Disneyland with her birth mom. It was Sienna's first time . . . since she has been born. Her birth mom loves Disneyland and has been once a month for the last couple of years. We learned that while she was pregnant with Sienna she went on many of the rides in both theme parks.

Disneyland was decorated for the Halloween/fall season and we saw many pumpkins, including a huge Micky pumpkin.

These were some of my favorite pictures that I took of Disneyland in the Halloween spirit.

Sienna loved Disneyland. She was excited and happy to be there. I am sure she will not remember her first time to Disneyland, but I have a feeling we will be back often.

The Races

Last Saturday Steve, Sienna and I went to watch car races. We went with Steve's Brother Art and his family. I have never been but I guess Steve used to go all the time with his brother before he met me.
At first Sienna slept through all the noise and excitement, but when she awoke she was quite captivated by all the cars zooming by.

Sienna and her cousin Arianna having fun after the races.

Which Jane Austen Character are you?

I found this on another blog, and since I am such a fan of all of Jane Austen's books, I took the quiz. What character are you?
I am Elinor Dashwood!

Palm Springs Get-Away

This week the heat where we live has been almost unbearable. The temperature has reached 100 degrees several times and going outside has been rough. Steve and I had some time off so we decided to go somewhere . . .

As luck would have it we ended up at the Palm Canyon Resort in Palm Springs. Not exactly a cooler destination. In fact the temperature here easily reached 115 degrees. What were we thinking?!?

Steve's sister Kim found a time share deal and she invited us down for a couple of days.
We had so much fun swimming by the pool, going out for dinner and movies, and seeking air conditioned places to spend time.

Here Sienna enjoys time with her Aunt Kim by the pool.

At the pool there were two water slides. Sienna had fun on the smaller water slide with her daddy.

We got Sienna a fun little pool toy. It was a little big for her but she enjoyed being in the pool and relaxing. In fact she relaxed a little too much and everyday she would fall asleep after about 15 minutes of being in the pool.

Sienna fell asleep in her pool chair so mommy decided to cuddle with her outside of the pool.

Up-Side Down World

Sienna has started looking at the world in a new way.
She likes to look at things up-side down.
While drinking her bottle she arches her back to look at anyone that is talking, and if the T.V. is on she does the same. Here she is watching a little T.V.

Happy 3 Months......

Hi Everybody,

I just had my 3 month old birthday, so my mom decided I had to take a bunch of pictures again. She is wierd, she says it is genetic. Whatever that is... : )I got a new elephant to play with. It is so soft and tastes really good.

Then we went outside for more pictures. She would not stop until I gave her smiles, so I humored her. It seemed to make her happy. Silly Mom.

I hope that my four month birthday is this much fun. I can't wait to see all of your pictures too.
